Bieye Safety Glasses is committed to providing you with the highest quality prescription glasses. To do so, we recommend our customers have a relatively recent copy of their prescription card before purchasing prescription glasses online. Depending on your age, whether you currently wear corrective lenses, and other risk factors, our experts suggest you have a complete eye exam every one to three years. If you do not have a recent copy of your prescription, you will have to complete a routine eye exam with your optometrist.

During eye exams, optometrists use a wide variety of tests and procedures to examine your eyes. These tests range from simple ones, like having you read an eye chart, to complex tests, such as using a high-powered lens to visualize the tiny structures inside of your eyes. These exams exam take an hour on average, depending on the doctor and the number and complexity of tests required to fully evaluate your vision and the health of your eyes.

Upon completion of your exam, your optometrist will provide you with your new prescription card. By law, all optometrists are required to provide it to you, so don't forget to ask for your copy. The following image illustrates a sample prescription card.
